As a result, training in gastroenterology and conducting cutting-edge biomedical research aids in our understanding of digestive conditions. Hepatology is a medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, and pancreas.
